Masterclasses
Is a seminar of in-depth study of the modern and contemporary repertoire for solo voice, score analysis, performance practice and preparation for the actor's body.
The voice, in the connotation of contemporary music, encloses within itself the multifaceted need to become body and theater, where more and more the artist is required to know not only his own musical instrument through singing but to imply and be able to use everything that moves in synergy with the art of the actor and dancer; diction, the ability to deliver a text, to assimilate the meanings, movement, balance, and proprioception, essential to inhabit the scene.

La voce e il corpo.
Since 2018 Laura Catrani has been teaching the annual Workshop Il TEATRO DELLA VOCE at the Conservatorio Giuseppe Verdi in Milan, which involves students from the Composition and Singing classes. The result of this work results, for the third consecutive year, in a concert scheduled in the prestigious Contemporary Music Festival MILANO MUSICA.
